I am not big into the New Year celebration thing. It is just another day. Every day is kinda a new year. So, it is just a matter of perspective. Nevertheless, the date change does make a psychological impact. the 1st of the month, a different or new year. It is in these times we tend to set goals, resolutions, change things up for the better, make commitments, and try to keep up. I am no different in this regard.

Having said that, today, was just another day. I woke up at 5:30 am, went to the toilet, brushed my teeth, and got straight to work. Well not exactly. I prepared a cup of tea, made rice, and then got to work. I wanted to get the radio interface working elegantly. I also wanted to refactor some of the code and it started to look messy. After refactoring, I broke some of the code. This made me spent a few hours cleaning up the broken code. After which, everything started to work. My next goal is to use the radio's interrupt feature. Currently, the code just loops and keeps requesting the radio if there is a new message. This is an inefficient approach. A better way to do it is to listen for an interrupt signal. This is my next goal.

At 7:00 am I made breakfast, butternut squash soup with chicken and rice. At 10:00 am I did my tacit exercise. At noon I cooked and ate lunch. Fish, yogurt, Kale, Broccoli, Rice, Naan, and cucumber. I want to be disciplined with my eating habits. It sets a good rhythm for the day.

In the afternoon we went to my fiancee's grandmother's place to wish her Happy Birthday. She turns 91. It was a short trip as we had to follow COVID rules.

After we came back, I was still worried as my body seems to be groin a cyst again in my groin area. It might just be me being paranoid. Whatever the reason, I immediately thought of getting back to doing the Wim Hof Method. Something that I have not done in a while.

In the evening I did the 1st week of the classical Wim hof method. It felt really good. I hope to continue for the full 10 weeks. I then ate dinner and now writing this blog.

My goal for the next day:

  • Make sure the meals are eaten at the set time
  • Do the Wim hof method
  • Do the Tacfit exercise
  • Work on ANTSHIV Drones for 8 hours at the very least
